Or Amazon, eBay, Maplins etc.

There's nothing unique about the SBS-3 USB cable.

If you intend to run the SBS-3 SDRs you may need a special Y cable USB.
See Basestation Reference Manual section 2.1.

Yes that's what I thought.

Something like this?

I think the SBS-3 connector is a mini USB and NOT the micro USB which are more common now. Mine's in the loft so can't check easily.

Edit: seems my suspicions are correct http://www.kinetic.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14574&start=90

But it's not unique to the SBS-3.

And Yes IanH, the SBS-3 connector is a Mini-B.

It may not be unique to the SBS-3, but all I was trying to emphasise was that the USB cable required may not be a bog-standard USB cable with 1 plug at each end; a point not made clear in the earlier post.

I hope my input helped to assist the user, but if people are going to get petty about detailed definitions, I won't bother in future.

Your input was helpful, as always.  I was only trying to point out that the cable isn't unique to the SBS-3 and can be sourced from suppliers other than TMRF.

You replied quoting mine about it not being unique and I was clarifying the point.  Some may call it "petty", I prefer "precise".   ;)
