Of late when I start PP or switch charts a window appears stating-
"No AIP Files(having the `.aip extension) was found in your designated chart directory:C:COAA\Planeplotter\Chart Files\"

Click the OK option and the chosen chart shows correctly and PP works OK.
This problem appeared 7/10 days ago and I cannot link it to any action by me and I confirm that I am running the latest version and I reprise that this problem was there BEFORE this download.
As I have remarked I have not, intentionally, altered any settings and woud be grateful for any suggestions or advice.
Regards-
G.B.

I was getting that on a new install.

Under Options/Chart/OpenAIP overlay, untick anything that is already ticked.

Hopefully job done.

Bless you Ian! Sanity restored and thank you.

Hi, I have just encountered the exactly the same problem and followed the instructions but I do not find this...
Under Options/Chart/OpenAIP overlay. I have no Open AIP overlay showing. Please advise, with thanks.

Triple7

Which version of PP are you running?

Tim, thanks and greetings from OOMS (Muscat). That's the bit I couldn't find being new to Planeplotter. All working well now. Regards, Geoff.

Yes, I un ticked them all but they keep coming back.

Might be worth checking your registry to see if all three REG_DWORD's are zero.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\COAA\PlanePlotter

see screen grab.
