That was quick  :)

"Seldom do versions last such a short time!

Sorry about the scrolling bug in 6.2.6.1. It came about when I fixed a more
subtle problem with selecting an aircraft from the list which was not the whole
list but filtered by a condex, for example.

I fixed the more subtle problem and broke the scrolling. In my defense, that
particular change had been tested by ANO for more than a week and as I
mentioned, I seldom fill a screen so scrolling is not a big part of life here!

Anyway 6.2.6.2 is on the web site now and fixes the scrolling problem.

I hope I haven't broken anything else as a result.

Just tried download with Chrome.

Showed as malicious, stopped download and await a report showing no probs.

I had a hacker on my website and until sorted my host suspended the account.

It isn't malicious, just download it and tell your AV to let it through.

Any Ideas how I tell Norton to let it through as It will not and just keeps removing it?

You can also try this with NIS2012 which might hopefully 'trust' Planeplotter and stop NIS quarantining it in the first place.

Open NIS2012
Click Advanced.
Click Application Ratings.
Scroll down the list to 'Planeplotter.exe' double click it and select trust under 'user trusted'.

Whether or not that is a permanent fix we will only know when there is new version of PP released.

Just found something else!

I you right click on the PP icon on the desktop and pick 'Norton File Insight' near the bottom of the list, it takes you straight to the 'trust' section as noted above.

The Norton "problem" seems to be lack of any reputation for the file rather than anything identified as nasty. So it plays safe.
