Good news for RadarBox customers.

The last software update was in December 2009 and AirNav has always stated that it will address the outstanding bugs and other issues as soon as it's ShipTrax product was released.

I see that ShipTrax is now available to buy and I guess that qualifies as a formal release.

However, as with all new products, there will be unexpected problems and RadarBox customers may have to wait a bit longer?  Hopefully not too long.

As a long standing RadarBox customer I look forward to a new release, possibly including AirNav's version of Mlat?

Better late than never I suppose.

I hope Air Nav honour their promises to restart development work on the Radarbox.

I'm sure there are many others who have the same expectation.

Apparently, Ship Trax not available until the 10th, so let's wait and see for someone to say they have got one before we applaud too loudly.

A lot can happen between now and the 10th.

Has Air Nav announced which of the problems they plan to sort out first?

I've not seen any announcement. I suspect if anyone were to dare to ask on the forum they'd get the stock answer that they can't comment for commercial reasons but work never stops at AirNav.  :D

The good news is there doesn't seem to be any reported ShipTrax bugs, possibly because only one has been sold.  8)

Yes, I was given a ShipTrax receiver during beta testing, and I still use it every day.

Even though I was born in England, I consider myself Scottish now.  And when we finally get independence, I'll be happy to have a Scottish passport ;)
