Hi all can anyone help me. I have just bought a new lap top ,installed my sbs software no problem and it runs fine as is out of the box. When I tried to download extras from SBS Resources site nothing will download ,and just says sbs file not found. I am running WIN7 Pro . Ishould mention the laptop is a macbbook pro with a split hard drive. On my old laptop which was a ordinary windows one ,it ran ok with win7 on a split hard drive with mac on the other half. Everything downloaded ok.
Also there seem to be two Program Files .The other being Program Files 86?.
Many thanks for any advice. Best wishes Charlie

Hi Charlie

Welcome.

If you installed Basestation and accepted the default folder, it will have put some files in the Virtual Store location which you may not be able to see.  If your system is 64 bit the location will have an (X86) suffix.

Some add-ons want to access the Basestation.sqb file and in the above scenario will be in the Virtual Store folder.  You would then need to map the add-ons to that folder.

I'm just popping out to collect a lawn mower.  If you need help when I get back I can remote connect to your PC and show you what to do.

Hi I have managed to lock myself out of windows on this new laptop, trying to follow instructions regarding disabling the account prior to upload because of this virtual folder,as its a fresh installation I think I will have to re install windows 7 again ,as none of my passwords will work to unlock admin account .
Best wishes Charlie

Let me know when you're back up and running and I'll help you sort out your addons.  I'll show you around the Virtual Store.

I'd like to do a remote support session with you and get you up and running.

If you want to do this all you need do is install a free, totally secure application called Teamviewer. Please go to this website and download For the instant customer: TeamViewer QuickSupport

http://www.teamviewer.com/download/index.aspx

Then let me know the ID and Password via a Personal Message through this forum.

Teamviewer has an online Chat built in.

I'm around all day tomorrow if you can book a slot?
