A garden visitor

This bird visited my garden this morning. I am not a bird watcher per se so I don't know what it is. Is it Thrush of some sort?

Just for idle curiosity.

Looks like a pheasant.

When I was in Nothants we used to get a bunch of them in the garden with a male in charge.  Don't see them here.
