A Very Special Day In Somerset-18th May 2019

A two hour drive down to the South West today. Historic Helicopters was founded in 2013 by Mr Andrew Whitehouse, 32 Years ago this Wessex was retired, after many man hours and hard team work, UK CAA Permit to Fly was issued yesterday and this happened today. I worked on RN Wessex for my part 3 engineering training and became qualified to maintain and qualified to sign ( QM &QS) on 707 NAS at Yeovilton in 1983, so you can image how happy I and 100's of others were today.
