Have you looked at the Plane Base Aircraft programme it's the dogs..... much better than AD.

Not easy to answer as PlaneBase has a rather unorthodox "business model", requiring user sponsorship.  If it's as good as some suggest, growing the customer base should be an asset, not an admin chore:

Due to the enormous popularity of PlaneBase we have now become a member only database
A decision has been made primarily due to the increased administration required to support the growing number of users
Unfortunately not all users engaged and contributed to PlaneBase which inevitably has resulted in increased overall workload
We have therefore decided to keep our user base to those that support PlaneBase and help us grow and develop

New users will only be considered if introduced and sponsored by an existing PlaneBase user
The sponsor must be a current user and should contact us at support with details of the person they wish to sponsor.

In view of the above policy, it's difficult for potential new users to determine if the product is any good or meets their needs.  Or what "engaging and contributing" means?

Having met Gary Jones a number of times, he always struck me as an enthusiast who understood what was required both technically and administratively.  I think his previouis business experience was an important factor in making GAS Populate and Active Display so successful.

Sorry to jump in on this, it is kinda along the same lines though. I used to use ADPro as the ability to view my SQB file and also for the appropraite flag etc.
Would anyone be aware of any other type of program out there that is of a similar nature.
You can view your SQB within planebase, but not the SBS flag.
Having this facility was great for viewing any flags that either needed editing or creating.

Hi Steve

By "Flag", what do you mean?  The OperatorFlagCode field?

Got my AD Pro to fire back up. Just right click on the clock, set the year back to 2019, fire up AD Pro, then put the year back to 2020.

Hi Steve,

Sorry - hit the wrong button - 'post' instead of 'prieview'  :'(

You can still use SBS-1 Populate which is what the Active display manual update screen is. Same layout but orange instead of blue.

If you need a copy - you know what to do :)

Alternatively, SQLite Expert Personal (free) will allow you to manipulate your SQB as you wish.

Scroll down to the personal version.

Thanks Tim for updating the thread.

Is your SBS Populate 32 or 64 bit?
