Morning,

The feed software for FR24 appears to have failed over the last two days.  All I get is that it can't connect and will try again in x seconds.
It appears to be either a software or server issue as there is another uploader reporting the issue on the FR24 forum.

What feed version are you using?  Radarcape, Windows, Linux?

The "flightradar24 feeding software V32" on Windows 10.  Can't see how to get to actual program version out of the software as I can't interrupt it once it can't connect and have to go to task manager to close it down.

I've tried it on two machines too with same results.

All worked fine until 2 days ago.  I don't think the machine received a Microsoft update and can't see anything in the firewall/virus software (MS Defender).  I've also emailed FR24 support this morning.

silly me - version is 1.2.3.2 (from the program file properties).

Thanks.

The latest Windows feeder version is showing as 1.0.15-7.

I just downloaded it but I can't get it to connect to my SBS-3 so can't check if the FR24 server has an issue.

I'll keep trying.

Thanks yes - I have tried the same and it doesn't want to accept my sharing key at the moment.

I've just tried to setup a new feed and am getting an error during the setup dialogue:

"Could not connect to feed.flightradar24.com. errno: 2"

I've emailed FR24 too.  Let's see if we get a reply.  There are unanswered posts on the FR24 forum about connection errors.

Same problem here this morning - not connecting.

and when I put the correct code in I get "could not connect" error.  I'll leave it with FR24.

Well, FR24 claims that everything is working correctly but we're not the only ones who think otherwise.

Maybe they're all snowed in?

I'm in the same boat. Just showing 2 red triangles and the 'cannot connect retry in 5 secs count down' message.

It also won't accept my key.

I emailed FR24 earlier and asked if there was a problem with the data feed server and was told "No, not that I am aware of"

Bit worrying, especially as "volunteer" feeders represent the bulk of its data.

I tried the recover lost key option only to see a message that whilst there was one registered user with my email address, my location had changed. I haven't moved so something is certainly not right.

I sent an email about a lost key to support but haven't received a proper reply, only the automated "we have received your email" message.

There's definitely an issue Tim as I saw posts on Radarcape Yahoo Group earlier.  But FR24 "Support" doesn't seem to know what's going on.

Well, trawling through the fr24 forum there does seem to be a lot of uploaders with the same problem.  And reading between the lines i think there is new software to load.  I have had a go at loading the new software and as there are questions that are not explained in the loading instructions it has become very difficult to understand and install.
There is now a query on the FR24 forum asking for clarification of these.
Yes, it does seem odd that FR24 dont take this seriously as their data must be diminished from the volunteers.  Maybe they dont want data from volunteer now?
