I use SBS3 via ethernet and it also stopped 2 days ago. I did nothing other than send an email to FR24 support. This morning it appears to be working correctly again. Glad I was too busy to do anything else over the last couple of days so didn't waste a lot of time. However, thanks to those that got listened to.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi, If you have it working how did you answer the "setup" questions please?

The first time it is run there are several questions that are not discussed in the PDF manual.  I have tried answering "No" to each but just get a repeating message that it cannot connect to the hardware.  I seem to remember that this was the same the last time they released new software and the software wants sole access to the (in my case) Puck.  Not good if, like me, you want to run basestation at the same time.

Thanks
Keith

ah, I think I have it sorted.  The first question asks for hardware type.  Need to select the last option SBSx NOT SBS1 or SBS3.

Oldfella

Also had success with feeding SBS3 to FR24 using these  settings in the FR24 config file -

receiver="basestation"

fr24key="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

host="localhost:30006"

bs="no"

raw="no"

logmode="1"

mlat="no"

mlat-without-gps="no"

Also the latest FR24 software -

I'm a happy chappie

I'm seeing exactly the same as you Ian. It started earlier today, after my ISP - Plusnet had a wobble.

I think the version I am using is 1.0.16-11.

I am seeing things like this in the command feeder window:

I'm running the same version here and everything has seemed good all day.  I have just stopped and restarted the uploader and it still seems to be running well.  Strange!   Firewall issue??

Ian K

How do you find out which version is in use ?
I just restarted PC but still have the same message

When you start the uploader the second line lists the version number.

Right click on the fr24feed.exe and look at the details tab - which revealed I am actually using 1.0.15.7

No firewall issues all FR24 programs / apps have full access.

Tim

EDIT: just upgraded to 1.0.16-11 with the same result - won't connect
